Thank you to all who helped us at Rover Roundup!
ROVER ROUNDUP
ROVER ROUNDUP
Thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, all the dogs and their humans who came out on October 4th had a fun time, on a beautiful day! We had contests, demonstrations, a Bar B Que, Ben & Jerry’s pup cups, and so much more.
The funds raised during Rover Roundup are going into the park’s operating expense fund, which helps cover the costs associated with running the park.
We are so lucky to live in such an amazing community. THANK YOU!!!
WHY WE’RE FUNDRAISING
ALL PROFITS FROM THE ROVER ROUND UP GO TO THE MAD RIVER VALLEY DOG PARK OPERATING FUND.
Thank you for your support of the Mad River Valley Dog Park!
The dog park was created thanks to the support of a State of Vermont Better Places Grant along with the generous support of many individuals and local organizations and lots of volunteer talent, expertise, and labor.
We are now operating under the management of an independent committee of community members who are responsible for ensuring the park is insured and maintained. This costs money, and the committee must raise funds every year to cover these operating expenses.
Rover Roundup is the first of the park's annual fundraising events to create a sustainable source of operating funds. Your donations for entry as well as your purchase of food and services offered at the event, bids on the silent auction all go toward meeting this goal.
